Appearance:
(sample best before end Oct/15) Clear but almost opaque, deep brown – almost black with thin but retentive beige head.
Aroma:
Burnt/toasted malt, charcoal, liquorice and chocolate with faint smokiness.
Taste:
Like the nose the palate is toasty/charcoal with cola and faint smoky bacon.
Aftertaste:
Liquorice and dark chocolate with light smokiness.
