Review and Tasting

Sampled on 04/08/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 20/Aug/17) Hazy, deep mahogany with thick, retentive creamy beige head and thick lacing.

Aroma:

Yeasty brown bread, caramel and blackcurrant.

Taste:

Full-bodied. Caramel and bready malt with blackcurrant, marmalade and piney hops.

Aftertaste:

Piney, yeasty and bready.

Overall:

A high alc./vol. meal of a beer with hunks of yeasty brown bread, caramel and piney hops with attractive blackcurrant and marmalade fruitiness.
