Heaven's Door Rye Whiskey is aged for seven years in new, charred American oak barrels before a further finishing period in toasted oak cigar barrels that have been air-dried for three years in the low-lying mountainous region of Vosges, France.

Importantly, the cigar barrels are not charred so allowing naturally occurring flavours that develop as a result of using air dried oak to shine.
