The lemon/lime split was an interesting idea and in this necessitated by running out of lemon. I did a 50/50 split of Strega and genepy, also Cocchi Americano. Felt like it needed some of the sweetness added back in so 2.5 ml triple sec. Some really interesting flavours coming out. I used to do an “instant icecream “ with orange, lemon and lime juice and rind and fresh cream. Reminds me of that.

Triple sec seems a promising addition addition. Must try. Favorite of mine: In a frozen glass. Old fahsioned or larger. Two small scoops Häagen-Dazs vanilla bean (or other authentic no emulsifer ice cream). Half fill two to one white grapefruit /Pom pomegranite juice, splash of lime. Top with tonic water. Careful it foams like a rootbeer float. Also any bitters you might be inclined to add. Plus vary the juices. Apple. Orange. Good with booze in it also.

Sounds very delicious!
Here’s the “ice cream” recipe. https://www.nigella.com/recipes/no-churn-bitter-orange-ice-cream

I normally use an orange, a lemon and a lime. Haven’t done in ages but very reliable and always popular.

Lemon sorbet is excellent sans the dairy.
