Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur is made in Brooklyn, New York using cane spirit, sugar, filtered water and more than 200lbs of fresh ginger per batch...
Definitely a more intense ginger flavor than Domaine de Canton, along with significant less sweetness. It shines in ginger-forward drinks, but I think Canton can have its place, when I want the ginger to be less of a presence, or when I want it to also work as a sweet element.
It's 'intense' for a ginger liqueur. Domaine de Canton is trash compared to this (mixing-wise). Overall, it tastes like a mildly spiked (well-made) ginger syrup. A bit to be desired, but I'll take it.
