had to do without Tajin which I think would make it even better, but this is a stunner. There's a real smoky taste from the Mezcal which would make this a great pairing to a smoked barbecue. It's definitely getting an outing next time I'm cooking pulled pork.
This brings our total of favourite Margaritas to in excess of a dozen. We always do Margaritas straight up in a Coupe glass, being very resistant to any dilution of this magnificently bold and generous cocktail.
Thanks, Richard. I wish I'd picked up on your recipe and the Mezcalita back in 2023. My recipe has the same alcohol strength, or even a little higher than yours, due to a lower proportion of orange juice, but fewer units of alcohol due to smaller measures. Your recipe has 90ml of 40% liquor, while I try to keep to 75ml max.
