I didn't have Falernum liqueur, so I used a mix of 1/2 oz Flor de Cana 12 year old rhum and 1/3 oz falernum syrup.

Not what I was expecting. Wow, what a great before or after dinner cocktail. Use a good Falernum as some of them can be too sweet. Perfectly balanced. All the various ingredients result in a burst of tastes which are not expected, but very pleasing.

Delightful fruity and confectionery flavors, though a bit sweet for my palate. Benefited greatly from the addition of two drops of saline solution in my opinion.

It tastes a bit orange-like. Very nice drink!
