Used what I had and it turned out surprisingly better than expected, but the vermouth seriously just sticks out like a sore thumb. Subs: Willett 4 Year Rye (112.2 proof), Four Roses bourbon, Cinzano Extra Dry vermouth.

A whisky-heavy Boulevardier with a dash of chocolate. It doesn’t work for me, partly because the Martini gets swamped by the other flavours. Certainly not unpleasant, but not great either.

Will be available in the UK very soon. Otherwise another brand of white creme de cacao.
