I felt shaking it helped to make it feel lighter. Haven't tried them side-by-side but I can imagine it would be a bit heavy if stirred.

Thanks for the hypothesis. Trained as scientists, we couldn't resist testing it. And yes, side by side, for us, the shaken version is lighter and 'airier'; the stirred version being a bit more solemn (we wouldn't say "heavy" since it's only 1.1 standard drinks) and perhaps more flavoursome. So perhaps there are two cocktails here: 'Haiti breeze' and 'Haiti night'. Cheers.
