Sometimes I try a new weird guitar pedal and start by turning every knob up to full in pursuit of the lewdest noise available, because sometimes I really just want too much of everything at once.
As bitter, I used the most bitter bitter encountered so far in Europe, namely Gajardo Extra. I decreased by a forth the percentage of the orgeat syrup, and by a third the percentage of lime; The result was the most graceful enhancement to Mescal' (Peloton de la Muerte) proper earthiness and smokiness) encountered so far in a cocktail.
With this just-mentioned goal, this cocktail is possibly the most interesting encountered so far, just wonderful.
This was good for sure, but its only noteworthy to me because the orgeat and maraschino are so subtle, perhaps perfectly so... Big manzanilla olive essence... Anyone else?
