Although rum is the main ingredient in this cocktail it plays something of a backseat to the more assertive flavours of cherry eau-de-vie and cherry liqueur...
Great after dinner or evening sipper. We used Kirk & Sweeney Gran Reserve rum. Could taste the rum, but the cherry is the front flavour. Would have again.
