Flor De Don Juan
A basil tequila sour (Margarita if you will), sweetened with elderflower liqueur – basil and elderflower flavours sit well with the tequila and lime

It’s pretty good. To be honest, I was using Blanco tequila. Initially, the tequila dominates the flavor, but towards the middle, the elderflower taste becomes more prominent.🌼

Very balanced and refreshing for a summer afternoon. Personally I would omit the sugar syrup, but some of my guest found it perfect like it is.

Sadly, I haven’t any notes for who created Flor de Don Juan or where I discovered it.
