I used De Kuyper Cherry Brandy and Biona Tart Cherry pressed juice. The result was delicious although a bit sweeter than my usual taste, however this may be partly nostalgia as in the gung-ho days of pre-safety ski holidays we would carry a hip flask of De Kuyper Cherry Brandy with us. This is a lovely drink despite not using Kentish cherry juice. I am enjoying it in the safety of my own flattish garden.
Outstanding. One of the best. So tangy and tarty.
I recommend to add 2 dashes of cherry bitters (to add complexity), one dash of plum and root beer bitter to add extra layers and bitterness to the cocktail, and a foamer to make it extremely elegant.
It’s amazing. Just wonderful.
Drinking this on National Cherry Day on the advice of "Mr. Yours Truly". Also an absolutely great cocktail for a Wednesday night!
I just muddled in the cherries before adding the other ingredients. It's a brilliant cocktail - sweet, sour, bitter, fruity...a cheeky cherry triumph!
What a fantastically balanced cocktail. Starts slightly sweet, but then the Campari and grapefruit come in very quickly to add a nice sourness/bitterness. An absolutely great cocktail on a Friday night after a long day at work.
This is outstanding. On my favourites. Loved that it is sweet, but not overly. Nice hints of bitter from the various ingredients. Perfect in the afternoon. We did thaw out some frozen cherries and made the juice. Thanks for creating.
