A gin-laced, freshening herbal alternative to a late-night Sweet Manhattan

All the right ingredients but the whole is less than the sum of its parts.

Very nice! Love the color and clarity! I had Lazzaroni Amaro and Bombay Gin, used a cocktail spray-mister for the absinthe. Thought it might be on the bitter side with the Amaro but not at all. This will be one of my "Go-To's" The mouth feel was very nice as well. Salute'
I'm using a personal favorite gin: Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz. And Punt e Mes instead of the noted vermouth (which I do not have).
This cocktail is now on my "make again and again" list !!
