I used St. George Terroir Gin and the Sage went great with the Creme de Cassis. Garnished with a Sage leaf.

I believe a "Casablanca" should be a gin based drink. "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine."
I drink Aviations when I watch Casablanca...they leave in a plane...or Red Stripe Champagne like they did in the movie. Just saying.
This was well thought out, I had Illegal Mezcal and Amontillado Sherry, the honey worked great with the Strega and lemon juice and the 4 drops of hot sauce and salt grains worded magic. The sage accented the smokiness of the Mezcal. I thoroughly enjoyed it...Salute'
I upped the passion fruit syrup, used Ketel One Grapefruit & Rose Vodka, Dolin Vermouth, and grapefruit Bitters with 2 grains of flaky salt. Very nice. The grapefruit bitters turned out to be a great addition to this version.
I had Remy and a Don Benigns Amontillado Medium Dry Sherry on hand and used Nocello for the walnut Liqueur. I usually like the Nocello on it's own but that was an excellent use of a 1/4 oz of that Nectar from the heavens. The Cognac is pronounced which I prefer and the Walnut Liqueur adds that nutty balanced finish. A wonderful sipper.
Great use of the Strega, I used Old Overholt Rye Whiskey and Cnia Mata Vermouth Tinto Reserva. Nice drink indeed for the fall.
Recipe calls for 2 ounces of Remy and then later I see only a 1/4 of an oz. after I had already made it with 2 oz, I used Green Creme de Menthe because i din't have any white , i would rename it green eyes or sumthin else...I'm goin to take a nap.
Enjoyed this, the Allspice Dram makes it a great Holiday drink. I think I will make this again with a little Apple cider juice and lose the cinnamon since the dram is there.
I love the way the Calvados and Yellow Chartreuse compliment each other, great way to enjoy your yellow Chartreuse! Boozy, definitely a sipper, but still a clean honey like finish. Great finale cocktail, not a preamble. I especially like the name of the cocktail! "Here's to the widow that lives on the hill, she want kiss you but her sister will" "Here's to her sister". WDB
Was surprised at how balanced, thought the Campari would be more pronounced. I did a hard shake with a gardenia petal in the tin and garnished with a fresh petal. Added a very nice floral nose to the cocktail. Gardenia petals are edible in low quantities. Very nice indeed! Nice mouth feel too!
I love this drink, tart and sour but the sloe gin adds a touch of sweetness to it, nicely balanced but next time I will do 1 oz each instead of 3/4 oz to last a little longer. I do a hard shake for 60 times to get the necessary dilution. Happy Birthday Charlie!
Outstanding, I used Raspberry jam, surprisingly balanced, the wine was a nice addition, definitely fine strain with seeded jams. Great drink for special occasions, like National Asparagus Week etc. ;)
Another keeper when you want a smooth sweeter finale' cocktail. Very nice indeed.
Very nice! Love the color and clarity! I had Lazzaroni Amaro and Bombay Gin, used a cocktail spray-mister for the absinthe. Thought it might be on the bitter side with the Amaro but not at all. This will be one of my "Go-To's" The mouth feel was very nice as well. Salute'
Wow, made this with Tequila because was out of Mezcal, will have to get some Mezcal, don't know how it could be any better but I will see. This is a keeper, surprisingly well balanced.
Swapping out yellow chartreuse for Strega (more easily sourced) works beautifully here
Great idea!
I made mine with 20 hard shakes and strained into a coupe, intense flavor, fabulous cocktail. If too tart then serve in the rocks glass with ice per directions. Very nice cocktail!
This is fabulous, I was expecting to tweak it one way or another but loved it just as it is; this is definitely in my top 10!
Surprised me how the Elderflower worked in this drink, I used Aperol instead of Campari and 1/8 oz. of simple syrup. Usually I lean to Gin but the Tequila works great in this! Nicely balanced with a slight bitter sour citrus note. Very good! One to remember.
I used Tequila, was out of Mezcal, and used 1/4 oz of Ancho Chile Liqueur for just the right amount of heat. Excellent cocktail! Very well balanced. This is going to be one of my favorites...thank you.
Made this with Old Overholt and John Taylors Velvet Falernum, Made it with lime like it called for but it was so good I want to try it with lemon next time. Very nice indeed!
Fabulous cocktail, nice and tart, I used Hofland Sloe Gin and Drillaud Apricot Liqueur. One of my favorites!
