Hi Simon, I do realise that needs to be factored in, but, unless there's some glitch, the recipe I'm seeing says:
438 ml London dry gin [391g]
87.5 ml Dry vermouth [475g]
140 ml Chilled water [608g]
So it's the vermouth and water weights that seem wrong. The water, for instance, surely weighs exactly 140g...?
Please do explain if I'm missing something here as I'm genuinely puzzled. x
I was wondering the same. It looks about right for gin as it will be lighter than water, but 140ml of water should be 140g, right? And pretty sure that vermouth wouldn't be quite so heavy compared to water...
