For Mardi Gras I put out a version of a Sazerac in my cocktails. It is public. It is called Sazerac Cerise. Uses both cognac and rye with a spoon of cherry syrup. Happy Mardi Gras.
Mardi Gras is problematic as it occurs on a different date each year. If I add such celebrations to our date-driven Cocktail of the Day then we're bound to have a few that end up on the wrong days. Would be setting myself up to fall down!
