I wish I could feel the brilliance. I made it with the original Scotch utilised, the Glenlivet 12. A strange mustiness (the malt probably) ruined the entire balance of the drink, with that being the starting point, rounded out by the much more pleasant honey and lime. Strange drink.

@Simon Difford Tried it again with this new recipe. Much, much better. It makes more sense now. I think the lemon pairs better than the lime with the Speyside Single Malt.

Hi Chris. Try now. I've subtly rebalanced and split the citrus between lime and lemon. I've rated 4.5/5.

Very nice citrus forward cocktail with the hit of the Scotch Whisky in the back. Very smooth and easy to drink. All-in-all excellent.

If you ever wondered what a scotch margarita tastes like, this is pretty darn close.
