This is a great fernet cocktail. Good balance of fernet herbs, citrus, and a bit of smoke from the scotch. We used regular OJ; still a very refreshing drink.

Seemed like a good cocktail to indulge in to mark the start of Italy's "Dante Year" (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jan/01/italy-year-long-celebration-dante-700-anniversary-drawings).
And it doesn't disappoint. There are some big, distinct flavours in this list of ingredients, but they all play off against each other in a very satisfactory way. This one definitely gets added to "my favourites".
