1 fl oz Speyside single malt Scotch whisky
fl oz Fernet Branca
1 fl oz Blood orange juice
fl oz Maple syrup
1 dash Xocolatl Mole bitters

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish:

Grapefruit zest twist

Comment:

It’s obvious that this Blood & Sand-like cocktail contains Fernet Branca, it has an almost smoky herbal influence. Maple syrup is an inspired sweetener and flavour enhancer.
