Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Patrón Silver blanco tequila
12 oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
12 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
1 oz Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
3 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of grapefruit zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS grapefruit zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish.

Grapefruit?
No, it should be called GREATfruit! This one is Le Banger, as the kids say these days.
I'm going to keep citric acid in solution (like the saline in this recipe) to correct for the unusually sweet grapefruit of late.

This one gets better as it warms up. Quite nice really. Lemon and lime zests together are a nice alternative to the grapefruit zest twist.

A bit flat for me, maybe the bottled grapefruit juice wasn't sour enough. Adding ~1/4oz lime juice woke it up nicely.

Not quite sure what the Campari is trying to achieve here. Take it out and use some margarita bitters and you have a grapefruit margarita that’s simply better in my opinion.
