Was out of sugar syrup, but substituted 15ml white Crème de Cacao. Less subtle or "pure" than the original, but it made for an effective combo of flavours....

Went perfectly with an Chinese Spicy Orange Chicken dinner. Did use our homemade grenadine for the sugar syrup and it added an additional flavour.

Underrated! A great, sweet but complex, deep & surprising drink, quite different from Your standard daiquiri. LOVE it!
