Savoury is too timid a name. I suggest "delectable". This cocktail is a meal unto itself. I'm a single malt collector and I'd say this one is ready to take its place in the Hall of Fame next to the Left Bank Martini.

Have never gone with with a Simon cocktail, and this is no exception. Was a bit unsure about this, initially, due to the mixture of ingredients, but they all work with each other. The Whisky is prominent on the initial sip, but the brine and sherry come into their own at the end. Definitely needs to be someone who like Whisky. It is boozy and not for the faint of heart, but very rewarding indeed.
