Really features the gin. I had Edinburg and it was VERY juniper forward! A couple of drops peychauds definitely helped to balance the aromatics even at 60ml. With fresh bottles of vermouth and quina this could potentially be very good. And one of those drinks that is better slightly off-cold, so to speak, to let the wines say their piece.

Mmm yum! This is tasty. Bittersweet and fruity with Byrrh, Cocchi Storico, and Maraska Maraachino. Beefeater. Will do again!

I really enjoy this drink and wouldn't want to tinker with the gin as I believe 2oz is needed to balance the "kiss from the aromatasized wine and Maraschino". If anything, I might decrease those for a more delicate kiss rather than the gin!

Immaculate demonstration of "less is more".

Soft, open, easy. Rendered a little more interesting with a dash of bitters. Pleasant enough, but it won't become a regular.

This is a deceptively smooth, slightly sweet (to my palate) cocktail. I liked its balance very much, and did add a dish of Peychaud bitters to the mix. Tasty!

Very nice. I think it needs all the gin to keep it the right side of sweet.
