Like John, I used Lillet Blanc and Kina L'Aero d'Or, though I upped the L'Aero d'Or to 1/2 oz (15 ml) to bring a bit more bitterness and complexity to the drink. Cocchi Americano has a spice flavor component that sometimes clashes with white cocktails, although it might be ok in this one with the OJ and the apricot liqueur. Try L'Aero d'Or if you can find it (may not be easy!)

Just got my first bottle a few days ago and it's going fast. Great stuff! Made this yesterday with the L'Aero/Lillet and it was excellent. Tonight Bonal/Lillet, increased the gin and Bonal to your specs and it's also excellent! Thanks for your reply.

I'm looking to add the first kina to my collection, and the DiffordsGuide page on Kinas rates both the Mattei Cap Corse Blanc and the Bonal Gentiane-Quina as 5*+. The Tempus Fugit L'Aero d'Or is rated as 4.5* so I'm leaning towards one of the 5*+ ones. Any thoughts from anyone that has drunk them all or more than one? (My local supply, Les Caves du Roy in Paris, has all three so no help narrowing down the choice there..) TIA
