Perfectly balanced between sweet and tart. A tad on the simple side but, to be fair, that isn't really surprising given the fact that it's essentially a two ingredient drink.

Just finished off my bottle of the Clement. Great tasting product, but I struggled to find recipes in which it excelled (and it wasn't quite an legit substitute for Cointreau, et al). But I would buy it again and keep experimenting... I'd only 45 ml of the Shrubb left and made up the difference with 15 ml of Doctor Bird. Turned out a good drink, though I'm wondering if it fell short on its intended sweetness. I prefer bitter and dry drinks, so I enjoyed it, nonetheless.
