Why not round up 5/12 to .5oz? Seems arbitrary to make it specific for less than .1 oz.

The rationale behind our measures is outlined in measures and measuring (see link under recipe above). For accuracy and best results, we work to increments of 2.5ml (haf a barspoon) and 5ml (a barspoon). Easy to follow using our Easy Jigger, especially in ml.

Yes! The blue cocktail you can drink without entirely sacrificing your cred. Just the ticket for WCD 23.

Might be better if you agree vodka has no place in a Martini. Lucky for you all, I tried it with 60 ml of gin (Gordon's, so not great) and I'd opt to maybe do a 50:50 vodka:gin... I did, however, then try this with 60 ml of Junipero Gin, and it's better, but I'm still contemplating a blend, only to knock down the intense herbal notes of the Junipero and Noilly Prat dry... Why is the Martini so bland yet so fascinating? (6 Oct 2022, 3:36p)

It is better than I expected and is very pretty in the glass. Nice before dinner martini with guests.

It is very boozy. It is very good. First sip took me by surprise as I did not expect the strong tastes and that the blue Curacao keeps it very dry. Will keep for aperitif rotation for sure.
