I enjoyed the kummel at the level specified, and the after-taste of caraway and gin herbals. My partner thought about increasing the lemon next time, but not at the expense of the kummel.

Tried this again with 20 ml lemon and enjoyed it even more. Helped to balance the Kummel sweetness in our opinion.

After experimenting I liked this drink much better after swapping the proportions of the lemon juice and kummel, plus added 1/3 oz simple syrup. May depend on your brands of gin and kummel; I was using Tanqueray Gin and Doppelt Kummel Extra, and found the kummel overpowering before my modifications.

Agree. I found the kümmel to be overly dominant otherwise. Was using homemade kümmel and beefeater. Quite nice with the modifications.
