Shouldn't it actually be called Lime juice (freshly squeezed)?

Yes! Thanks for bringing to my attention. Now corrected.

I allowed my husband to chose a cocktail based on lime, had some to use up and he chose this one. Where has this cocktail been all my cocktail afficionado life I ask myself. This is the best Daiquiri ever, gave it a 5.

Very nice. Made with SelvaRey White (supposedly similar to Havana Club 3 year). Rum-forward, but very well balanced with just enough of the other ingredients. Make sure you don't over-pour the maraschino liqueur or it will easily overpower the rum.

Absolutely my favorite rendition so far. The maraschino shines in the background. I've tried this with many rums: Appleton signature is very good. I also like the richness of Hamilton 86 in this.

Just an editorial note: Constante purchased the bar in 1818? Thanks again for all that you do with this excellent website.

Many thanks, Simon. Now corrected to 1918.

Now this is what I am looking for in a daiquiri. The Gold rum gives a wonderful rum flavour unlike when you use the white rum. The cocktail has a slight sweetness, and the wonderful taste of rum.
For those who like the flavour of rum and do not want it masked by a lot of other tastes, this is the daiquiri for you.

Does anyone know where I could buy that glass please. The specific style/shape in the picture.

We've gone through 100s of glasses over the past couple of decades but only recently started recording the name and manufacturer of glass. The glass you’re after is more a Coupe than a Martini and our friends at UrbanBar.com have a 21cl Retro Coupe Glass that might fit the bill.
