I am really sorry, but the specs this way is toturously sour. I agree with Minyoung Kim. Too acidic. This time, I made it with 37.5ml of mandarin juice instead of orange alongside 5ml of simple syrup instead of 2.5, and the drink is much better. Still tart and citrus-y, but now balanced.

Agreed. I've rejigged the recipe in the quest for deliciousness and balance.

Loved this. Did leave out the sugar syrup to make it a bit drier. Was a great aperitif. Nicely sour and a strong taste of citrus.

Agggg skip the syrup, it’s plenty sweet enough without it. One of my all time favs, but dangerous because it is so damn drinkable…

Perhaps 20 years since I last made this cocktail so I'll remake and look at the recipe plus add booze and sweetness ratings (the fact these are missing shows a very old cocktail). That said, "Dolce" does mean 'sweet'.
