Tastes like cherry cough syrup. Can see how cherry coke fans might like it though.

Definitely needs the bitters as it would be a bit basic without (even better doubled up to 2 dashes). Reminiscent of cola but in a good way

Yeah it's alright. Your idea of double bitters is better and I do get the cola taste, but again always depends on what whisky and vermouth used. I used Walker red and Cocchi storico
