I was keen to try star anise in a cocktail recipe and decided to crush and grind one in a shaker to release maximum flavour and see how it would turn out...
Finally got to try this attractive recipe! It's as delicious as the picture is beautiful. I may have crushed the star anise to finely and may want to fix that next time to have the flavour less prominent or even stir rather than shake. Made with mandarin juice (ran out of oranges). A drink I will revisit.
