With a whole egg, a shot of tequila, bittersweet liqueur and Chartreuse, this is both a Death Flip and perhaps your last meal, for a while at least. Challenging...
I thought it would be a lot thicker and heavier but it's surprisingly airy. That tequila works great in creamy drinks I knew before but the Jäger and Yellow Chartreuse really complements each other. I don't really get the vanilla from the syrup but I can imagine it just plays up the honey saffron from the Chartreuse.
I used Strega in this one. I really wasn't a fan of the tequila eggnog recipe I made last year so was unsure how this would go. I really ended up liking this one though. The tequila is very well complimented by the Jager and Stega. I've only used the Strega in one other drink in the past so am not too familiar with exactly what its bringing to the table besides the additional non-anise herbal tones. All in all a fun interesting twist.
