Bourbon and rye whiskies form a robust base with hints of both maraschino and cherry brandy liqueurs adding flavour and richness alongside Italian vermouth
Hmmm.. I put the batched and single serve Sweet Manhattan recipes alongside each other to compare and they are very(!!) different.
Single serve 3:1:2 (bourbon:rye:vermouth) (recipe n.1247, linked from the 'Sweet Manhattan (batched recipe)' page)
Batched 1:1:1
Shurely shome mishtake?
Paloma's original answer to Peter should have said that there isn't a single-serve version of this batched cocktail. This batched recipe isn’t intended or billed as being a batched version of recipe No.1247 Sweet Manhattan. They are different cocktails, both broadly with a 2 parts whiskey to 1 part sweet vermouth.
