I wonder if the bottle I had went stale or something, I don't think 20 percent abv is enough to keep fresh forever, like the banana for example is 24 and tastes fine to me.
Nah it already didn't taste as good after opening. I have no idea how long it'd been sitting on the shelf at the liquor store, the packaging was the original design though, with a cork, the newer ones just have a screw cap. No idea when they stopped using the cork.
That is very sage advice. The trouble is you'd just fill your fridge with half bottles. I lost a half bottle of Beesou which saddened me, it sat on the bar shelf for a couple of months inbetween uses and had gone dark orange and bitty. Shame.
