Probably the best example of an "Alpine" style amaro. Bittersweet and complex. Works wonderfully with bourbon in a variation on a black Manhattan.

Thanks, Matt. You make a good point. I'll add Amaro Caldo (60ml amaro served in a toddy glass with 120ml hot water) to our selection of cocktails.

Add about 20 ml to your next cup of coffee.
Also good over vanilla ice cream.
