Have you ever tried the Italian bottled eggnogs like Vov and Zabov? I didn't have a chance to do an AB comparison yet, but the taste of the Warninks really let me down, as I kept reminiscing of the Marsala-note of its Italian counterparts.

I've not tried the Italian counterparts, but I'll look out for them next time I'm in Italy. You have reminded me that we're heading into Snowball season.

How long does this keep when unopened? It doesn’t have an expiry date on the bottle but it contains eggs so I wouldn’t think it’s like a spirit that could still be drunk years later.

Good for years - I'd say a decade - if unopened and stored away from sunlight. I've added a use-by note above.
