Excellent - delicious notes from the maraschino (not overwhelming, I'm surprised you can use this much maraschino and not have it obnoxiously dominant), works very well with the vermouth. And the tequila is great in the background, with just a hint of smoke from the mezcal - really excellent!
I agree that there is a nice balance of sweet and salty notes. After rinsing the glass and then actually discarding the rest of the mezcal, I actually found it to be quite subtle and not too smoky.
Interesting twist. I am not a big smoky anything in my drink. You need to like a smoky taste in your cocktails. Great with anything salty. Smoky flavor mellows when it does sit for a few minutes.

Absolutely delicious. A perfect combination of sweet notes from vermouth and maraschino, saltiness and spices from the tequila and smokiness of mezcal.
