It's me again, happy World Cocktail Day and it falls on the weekend again so will indulge, then will have to skip a few years, no drinkies Sunday-Thurs. I have not chosen the cocktails for today yet, my next task.

Happy World Cocktail Day. Looks like it was a year ago I wrote the message below lol. I shall extend the World Cocktail Day to tomorrow evening and have chosen some cocktails. Tonight it will be a Symphony for aperitif and as will be staying in, I will make Tiki Cocktail Chief Lapu Lapu late evening. Tomorrow I planned a Geyhound's Tooth and have one more to chose yet. CHEERS

well a few hours later I checked the ice cubes and they were still a bit dodgy, and then lo and behold, I remembered about my emergency stash in a baby fridge we have so we were able to have our planned Symphony. Chief Lapu Lapu will have to wait

We've also out of ice on World Cocktail Day - I turned our ice machine off and cleared for deep clean tomorrow morning as I noticed not draining properly. Happily, we stopped by Three Legs, one of two local breweries earlier with growlers so no need to raid the block ice I've made and stashed for photography with Dan next week. Hopefully, ice supplies will be restored for both of us tomorrow.

Totally forgot it was World Cocktail day although I was all ready for it because being a public holiday today and having a long weekend, means drinking is allowed, no good the other years norally. Made Corn 'n' Oil for the lunch aperitif, and tonight will make this version of an Old Fashioned. I don't have Abbotts bitters maybe I will use Jerry Thomas so as to not use the usual Angostura bitters.
