I prefer making it with either 45ml of the white rum or 30ml of white and 15ml unaged rhum agricole. In a drink like this with a split base where vodka is one of them, I think it’s pointless and I’d rather get more rum coming through.

I prefer fruity cocktails and love pineapple so this gets my vote. It’s February now and I’m looking forward to drinking this on a hot summers day in the garden.

I would scale pineapple juice down a bit but otherwise great drink

Pretty tasty. I used coconut rum and made it both with the vodka and without (substituting coconut rum for vodka). Both versions reminded me of drinking on the beach in St. Croix.
