Unable to find decent fresh passion fruit, I made do w/ 1.5 oz. of puree. Mouthfeel was still a bit viscous for my taste, so doubled up on ginger ale. I imagine this would also be good w/ papaya or mango.
Interesting that the photo seems to show a drink that has not been fine strained because it still has the seeds I it, but the instructions are to fine strain. I’ll try both versions when I make it later today and report back.
The passion fruit makes this special - glad I cheated by not straining out the seeds. It's an interesting name for a cocktail with no obvious Aussie connection.
