Excellent. I split the vermouth 50:50 Dolin and Carpano. Plus I was heavy handed with the Peychauds. Wasn't too sweet, perfectly balanced

I made this a few months ago and really liked it. A 4 star drink
Made it again today but split the gin to be 50/50 navy strength and regular gin. Plus also split the vermouth to be 50/50 Carpano and Dolin Rouge. Absolute belter. 5+ stars. Might even introduce a drop or two of cacao bitters next time
Very enjoyable aperativo. Not overly bitter at all
Made with bourbon and Montenegro. The lemon juice and aperol almost give it a grapefruit tang. Very moreish
Tried this. Don't think there is enough character here to make it other than a substandard Martini
Invested in a bottle of elderflower since it features in so many interesting cocktails. This one is great. Upped the absinthe to 5ml and still very palatable
Made this to your spec vs the Claridges recipe (less vermouth, more amer and maraschino). Both great. This and the Brooklyn are my go-to Manhattan alternatives
Made it Bourbon and omitted the water. Tip top and is a go too drink (since I now have a big bottle of Picon to get through)
Used Carpano Antica in place of the Cocchi. Delicious. I'll omit the sugar next time as it tastes a hair too sweet.
Used Antica Formula in mine and agree. Great drink
