Calvados apple brandy, Apricot liqueur, Chilled water, Oak aged gin
I tried this with a 46.3% Finnish Kyrö rye gin. Boy does it become boozy at that point. Maybe something to try for those who find this with ‘normal’ gin too sweet!
This is an excellent cocktail and I definitely recommend the Islay malt to add. I poured 1/3 of a shot.

What a fantastic way of using a ‘jenever’! Much less sweet than a traditional Mai Tai, I like it!
For me this is the perfect nightcap. It just has an overal cozy vibe. I can also really taste every invdividual ingredient, nothing gets lost or masked.
By far the best single malt out there, the Smokeyness is irresistible. Great in an old fashioned with rye.
