Why Remy Martin? We're beginning to wonder if the AI bots haven't arrived.
It’s what I had on hand in the cognac department. I was concerned its taste would overwhelm the drink but it worked out well enough.

A superb drink. Made with Tanqueray No. 10, it is gin-forward, surprisingly citrusy, yet the orgeat comes through quite clearly to make an almost clarified yogurt taste. Would recommend
Nice and balanced with a hint of the pineapple flavor. It's citrusy and refreshing and dry, not overly sweet. It hides the Remy Martin quite well, but it's still worth using. I feel like it tastes like a dry pineapple daiquiri.
Commendable but not outstanding.
Refreshing, with a bit of depth. Liquorice leads and stays present throughout, and a dash of absinthe is exactly what you want. After that first hit of liquorice comes a sweet vanilla note. The liquorice never overpowers. Lime and simple syrup keep it in check, and by the end it settles into a sweet, slightly sour vanilla and liquorice balance. It’s a well-balanced showcase of its ingredients. Make it as written. Highly recommend.
My girlfriend loves this drink. It has an excellent nose and exceptional color. It tastes floral but isn't too sweet, with nice gin undertones, with the Tanqueray coming through not too strongly and Giffard's violet playing the front stage.
Like a whiskey sour but better. We used maple syrup in lieu of the simple and turned out great. I'd recommend trying with the maple syrup maybe bump it up and extra 1/4oz or what Craig recommended below cinnamon syrup seems like it would make this an excellent festive drink - could call it a 'ski lift'
Tastes like a green jolly rancher, but not too sickly sweet, awesome drink.
