From the Long Row Wood Expression range, this bottling is aged nine years in ex-bourbon barrels and five years in wine casks. Bottled at natural cask strength without chill filtration or the addition of caramel 9,000 bottles will soon become available.

The old Longrow Distillery was established on the street of the same name in Campbeltown by Mr John Ross in 1824. Production ceased at Longrow in 1896, although part of the original buildings now form the bottling hall at the Springbank Distillery. In 1973 the old distillery's name was bought back to life when it was chosen as the name for the new heavily peated single malt distilled at Springbank that year. Longrow is made from entirely peat-dried malted barley, but unusually for Springbank it is double-distilled in the traditional Scottish manner.
