Ingredients
⁵⁄₆ fl oz	Bols Peach Liqueur
²⁄₃ fl oz	Damrak Gin
²⁄₃ fl oz	Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
¹⁄₂ fl oz	Coriander syrup (homemade)
3 ¹⁄₃ fl oz	Three Cents Pineapple Soda

Garnish: In order to garnish the cocktail you will need 3 nice pineapple leaves which are sprayed with gold dust and arranged on a bamboo stick, prior to preparing the drink. Once the preparation of the drink has begun, add 1/4 of a bar spoon of gold dust directly into the shaker.

Method:

Prior to preparing the drink, arrange three nice leaves of pineapple on a bamboo stick and spray with gold dust.

Add the 25ml of Bols Peach liqueur, 20ml of Damrak Gin, 20ml of lemon juice, 15ml of Coriander Syrup and 1/4 bar spoon of Gold Dust to a shaker then fill it with ice and strain it over a Collins glass with an ice baguette in it. Top the glass with Three Cents Pineapple Soda and stir gently.

Homemade Coriander Syrup Recipe:
300ml simple syrup
45g coriander seeds

1. Prepare a 2:1 simple syrup
2. Smash the coriander seeds
3. Add the 300ml of simple syrup and 45g of coriander seeds to a sous vide pouch and seal.
4. Cook for 3 hours at 70 degrees celsius.

History

I created the recipe with the spirit of the Disco era in mind. I wanted it to be as tasty as possible, full of flavour and as easy to drink as it would be to get your body moving on the beat of any disco song. In order to achieve the looks I added some glittering gold dust to garnish the drink and the pineapple leaves, which resemble either a crown or the very representative flared trousers of the 70s and 80s. I am sure that the flamboyant appearance and great flavours will make out of this cocktail king, not only by name. Garnish your appearance and indulge your senses through the unique mix of flavours granted by the Bols Peach liqueur and Bols Damrak Gin which mingle together with the coriander syrup and pineapple soda in order to do the funky funk on your flavour palette. It is sweet, it is fruity, it is balanced. Easy to replicate and even easier to drink, I present to you the King of Disco. Certainly, it will inspire your body to rock on the greatest hits of the 70s and 80s and reflect the lights of the disco ball in its glitter, making you shine.

Notes

I recommend serving the drink without a straw in order to enjoy the fruity flavour of the Bols Peach Liqueur which is greatly complemented by the Bols Damrak Gin with its smooth orange notes and the zesty flavour of coriander syrup, all sweetened up by the pineapple soda.
