Without knowing it, I’ve created a new version of this. At a festival, my friends asked me to make up a cocktail with the delightful moniker of ‘Stings When I Pee’
I used less Pernod. It goes like this:
1 part Pernod
1 part vodka
A squish of lime or a little elderflower cordial
Stir those ingredients
Top with Ginger beer
Add a drop of grenadine to sink to the bottom.
Actually rather nice and now a firm favourite of my daughter’s for when we have cocktail hour :)
