We're on the hunt for new cocktail recipes using The Glenlivet. Do you have a great Speyside whisky drink to share?

The Morning Glory Fizz, Smoke & Mirrors or The Bitter Jean - the Speyside Single Malt cocktail category may be small, but it's full of big hitters. And they're not all stirred, brown and boozy (although we do love a Highland Sazerac) proving you really can get creative with your single malts.

We're working on building this repertoire of recipes and sharing more cocktails to keep people mixing with their malts, but this time we're asking readers to submit their favourite drinks.

While there's no one winner, as we're hoping to feature as many drinks as possible on the site all credited to their inventors, the first ten recipes submitted will receive a bottle of The Glenlivet's Founder’s Reserve. So if you've got a cocktail that wows every dinner party or you love to order but don't see on the site please let us know.

We're so fortunate to work with The Glenlivet to help build our Speyside Single Malt arsenal of cocktails and the tasting notes from Simon Difford prove just how versatile this Scotch is to mix. Overall it's approachable, fruity and light-bodied but brings a wealth of flavour to the cocktail shaker such as both orchard and tropical fruit, vanilla, citrus and even hazelnut.

Email jane@diffordsguide.com with your recipes and let's share our love of single malts and how well they play in cocktails with more discerning drinkers.
