We found it a bit too candy like as written but liked the direction. We then added more vodka (15ml/drink) and that got it to a place where you could still perceive the sweetness and the vanilla but took it away from being too much like a lollipop.

I don't have Grand Marnier orange liqueur. Can I use Cointreau? Or is it too different?

Hmm. A very interesting cocktail, a lot of punchy flavours, the orange and lemon comes out very strong and the double vanilla gives it a weird gelato in Bologna feel. I like it

A great introduction to limoncello cocktails. It's a sweet cocktail, not very complex but still a nice cocktail for a hot day.

Lacking the volume and flavor of a cream, it's reminiscent of a creamsicle.
