Pretty nice drink! I made it with a sweeter, cheaper French brandy and blackberry liqueur (as I didn't have raspberry). I'd like to call it a Black Marauder. Wonderfully balanced and fruity, both with the fruity ingredients themselves and the spirituous, dried fruit notes of the brandy.
Nice drink. I only had straight cranberry juice available so I added 5ml of simple syrup which seemed to work okay but a little more sweetening wouldn’t hurt either.
Was a bit unsure about this one at first, but as the cocktail breathed it took on a softer more balanced flavour. Would be perfect after a nice dinner or as an evening sipper.
Made this with Courvoisier Cognac and another brand of Cranberry Juice - The juice and cognac hits the tastes buds first and notes of berries from both the Chambord and garnish comes shortly after. Unfortunately I put too much lime juice which made the drinks overall taste more sour than anything
